During the spring of 2021, my partner & I were finally at the point we were ready to begin serious home hunting in the upstate portion of the Palmetto state, and reach out to Mike and Carol Church (A husband and wife Real Estate Team under REAL Brokerage, LLC) Having viewed their YouTube channel & enjoying their videos, my partner & I felt confident this husband & wife team held the same values we were seeking in professional realtors, and possessed the market knowledge and expertise we sought to help us find our new home. After initially evaluating homes in the upstate South Carolina area, we discovered the type of home and neighborhood we ideally wanted within our budget would be a bit difficult to achieve, and so we re-evaluated our search criteria, & decided to focus on the mid-state area (Lexington/Columbia) which unfortunately Mike & Carol do not handle, however - they were quite understanding of our needs and desire to stay within our strict budget, and desire to select a community which features a clubhouse & pool amenity, along with a natural gas community as well, so they kindly referred us to one of their partners, Real Estate Expert - Brett Windsor, with Olivia Cooley Group at Keller Williams Realty. Brett is every bit as cordial, kind, & professional as Carol & Mike, and understood right from the start what we ideally were seeking in a new home, and what was important to us, & what we could do without. Once we closed on our Cooperative apartment on Long Island, and were able to provide proof of funds to Brett, so he could place an offer for us on a home we liked, it literally took us two days from the closing of our apartment in N.Y. until we found just the right home, at just the right price, and make an offer which was accepted! We're very excited to be realizing our dream of moving OUT of N.Y.State, & down to the Palmetto Paradise we have chosen to be our new home, and can't thank Carol & Mike enough for all the initial effort they put in to working with Sammy & I, and ultimately referring us to the hands of the quite capable Mr. Windsor, and his incredible team at the Olivia Cooley Group. Both Sammy & myself are very appreciative of the effort everyone has put forth to ensure we found just the right home, at just the right price, which we are soon looking to be moving into.
