Social Video-focused Gillette Group Joins The Real Brokerage

Arizona-based team captures leads through Instagram and YouTube

Shannon Gillette started selling new homes in 2006 and quickly became one of the top new home sales consultants in the country. In 2014, she began her career in resale and soon after began to focus on making video a significant part of her business strategy. In 2020, she formed the Arizona-based Gillette Group, which closed approximately $80 million in real estate transactions within the last year. Today, Instagram and YouTube are the team’s number one source of leads, and Gillette Group is regularly featured on American Dream TV, a real estate-focused, documentary-style show that airs on Fox and the Travel Channel.

Gillette Group recently made the move to Real after Shannon noticed that some of social media’s biggest real estate influencers had transitioned to the rapidly growing brokerage.

“I started to notice that many of the agents throughout the U.S. and Canada that I admire on Instagram and YouTube were announcing their move to Real,” Shannon said. “Naturally that had me asking myself: ‘What is Real?’ As I started to research and talk with other Real agents, I quickly realized this was the right move for me and my team. I truly feel Real is one of the biggest opportunities for agents in the industry right now.”

Made up of 8 agents, Gillette Group is one of the top 15 teams in the Phoenix East Valley.
